Sun Valley and Beyond
Wedding Photographers

What is arguably one of the most important wedding vendors along side a wedding videographer, your wedding photographer is able to immortalize your special day. Hiring a professional wedding photographer is a major investment, which is why research is imperative.

Not only that, but making sure that you and your wedding photographer have the same vision in mind, and that you get along well with each other, will make all the difference when it comes to your wedding photography needs.

With that, here are nine excellent wedding photographers in Sun Valley and some out of state that are highly recommended.

Kendra Elise Photography

“As a sun valley wedding photographer my advice is make a weekend out of your destination wedding! With endless miles of world class hiking, rafting, skiing and mountain biking this Idaho gem is a place to make a memorable wedding experience. Start out with a rehearsal dinner at the round house. Take the gondola up and marvel at the beautiful view.

Soak in the heated pools, relax and grab a massage & enjoy a catered brunch party at the sun valley lodge.

**pro tip: consider planning your extreme adventures for the day after your wedding! I’ve had weddings where the best man broke their leg. He rocked crutches down the aisle & late onto the dance floor.”

A Fist Full of Bolts | Sean

“Sun Valley is unique and beautiful. It isn’t typical Pacific Northwest. It’s rugged and dry and offers up clearer views than places west of the Cascades, because evergreens aren’t in the way of everything you’re trying to look at.

I think the most important thing to remember when planning your wedding is that this is your wedding and you get to do it however you want! Too often we see couples caving to their families wishes, or doing things they don’t want out of obligation, don’t, do it your way. No regrets!

Last. Have fun! The more fun you have the better your photos and film will be, I promise!”
